Fall Break Art Camp in Chattanooga
Fall break art camp in Chattanooga fills the school break with autumn art at Creative Art Place, from painted pumpkins to spooky creations. It runs Monday to Thursday, with mornings, afternoons or all day to choose from.
Our fall camps
This year's fall break camp had two themes. In Pumpkin Patch, campers created amazing autumn art. And in Spooky Ooky Art, we invited them to "come create spectacular spooky art and have loads of fun while doing it."
The themes for next year are still to come.
Hours that fit the break
Choose a morning camp from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm or an afternoon camp from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. All Day Camp covers both, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, with a packed lunch in the middle.
Beforecare from 7:30 am and aftercare until 5:30 pm help on work days. You can add care for all four days or for a single day, whatever your week looks like.
Autumn art, start to finish
Fall break art camp leans into the season. Giant paper pumpkins get painted in layers of orange, jack-o'-lanterns get faces, and bats and moons turn up in the spooky pieces.
As in every class, campers start with the basics and layer on materials and techniques, from paint and pastels to collage.
Small camps, every supply provided
Our camps are small and each registration reserves a space specifically for your child. Supplies are on us, and once in a while we'll ask you to send something out of the ordinary, like an old pair of shoes.
A morning or afternoon camp is $175, and All Day Camp is $350. Please read the cancellation policy below before you register, since a held spot is reserved just for your artist.

Fall break dates follow the school calendar. Once next year's calendar is out, we'll set the fall break art camp dates, and you can ask to hear first. We'll let you know the moment they're posted.
Our fall break art camp in Chattanooga follows the school calendar, which helps families in Hamilton County classrooms. Families from Georgia schools should check their own dates, since those school breaks can fall on different weeks.
Can't wait until fall?
Weekly kids art classes run all year, and Kids Night Out brings pizza, art and a movie on Friday nights.
There's camp over the other school breaks, too: summer art camps run for eleven weeks, and spring break art camp fills the week off in spring.
Camp hours and prices
Mornings, afternoons or all day
Camps run Monday to Thursday. When a holiday falls in camp week, camp runs Tuesday to Friday instead. We never run camp on weekends.

Once in a while a camp needs something out of the ordinary, like an old pair of shoes. We'll always tell you ahead of time.
Before and after care
Beforecare runs 7:30 to 9:00 am. Aftercare runs 4:00 to 5:30 pm.

The fine print
Camp cancellation policy
Because our camps are small and often sell out, each registration reserves a space specifically for your child. For that reason, we are unable to offer full refunds once a spot has been held.
30+ Days Before Camp Start Date
Cancellations made 30 days or more before the camp start date will receive a refund minus a $25 administrative fee.
Within 30 Days of Camp
Cancellations made within 30 days of camp are not eligible for a refund. However, if we are able to fill the spot from our waitlist, we will issue a studio credit that can be used toward a future camp, class, or event.
Camp Cancellation by Creative Art Place
If Creative Art Place must cancel a camp session, families will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another camp.
