One session, one holiday

A workshop is a single session built around a holiday, so there's nothing to sign up for month after month. Your artist comes in and makes something for the season.

It's an easy way to try the studio, too.

Holiday art workshops in Chattanooga also make a simple gift: an hour or two of making instead of one more thing to wrap. Ask about the next date and bring a friend or cousin along.

Workshops or weekly classes?

Weekly classes meet every week and build skills month by month. Art workshops are a single session, so they're an easy way to try the studio, or to fit a little art into a busy holiday week.

They're also a fun way for cousins, friends and visiting family to make something together.

Many families do both: a weekly class all year, and a workshop when the holidays come around.

Supplies are covered

We provide almost everything. In Jennifer's words: "Once in a while if we're doing a special workshop or camp, we'll let you know if we need something out of the ordinary. Like a pair of shoes or something off the wall, but 99.9% of the things we provide for you."

Materials we love to mix

"Mostly we explore watercolors, acrylics, sculpture, mixed media, soft pastels, oil pastels, sculpture and everything in between and a combination of all of the above."

Holiday projects are a perfect excuse to combine them, plus anything new we think of or mix together ourselves.

What past workshops looked like

Past sessions have brought giant painted pumpkins in the fall and handmade animal masks in the spring. Each one is designed around the season, so no two workshops are the same.

The next round of art workshops will follow the holidays, starting with Christmas.

More seasonal fun

Between workshops there's always something on: art camps over school breaks, Kids Night Out on Friday nights, and weekly kids art classes all year.
